Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged 18 or older, of any gender
• People who have been diagnosed with epilepsy, based on a neurologist's assessment or brainwave test (EEG) results
• People who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression
• People who are currently receiving neurological care at Atrium Health
• People who are willing to follow all study procedures and sign a consent form

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are currently taking part in another treatment or intervention study
• People whose cognitive difficulties would prevent them from completing anxiety and depression questionnaires — whether on paper, electronically, or through an interview
• People who have a serious medical condition where life expectancy is less than 6 months
• People who are already being actively treated by a psychiatrist
• People who are currently having thoughts of suicide
• People who have previously attempted suicide AND are currently receiving ongoing therapy, OR have seen a psychiatrist in the past year
• People who have attempted suicide in the past year AND are currently prescribed two or more psychiatric medications (not just for sleep), AND where the trial investigators do not consider collaborative care to be appropriate
• People with ongoing unstable drug or alcohol misuse
