Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 to 75, both male and female
- People with locally advanced, inoperable, or metastatic stomach cancer or gastroesophageal junction cancer that has been confirmed by a pathology report as adenocarcinoma
- People whose cancer tests positive for HER2 expression
- For Phase Ib: People whose cancer has either not responded to or who could not tolerate previous standard treatments, or who have not yet received any systemic cancer treatment
- For Phase II: People who have not yet received any prior treatment for this cancer
- People with a performance status of ECOG 0–1, meaning they are fully active or have only minor limitations in physical activity (confirm with trial site)
- People with an expected survival of at least 3 months
- People with adequate bone marrow and organ function as determined by the trial site
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have fluid buildup in the abdomen, around the lungs, or around the heart that requires medical treatment
- People who had major surgery within the 4 weeks before joining the trial
- People who have an active autoimmune disease or a history of autoimmune disease
- People with a condition called interstitial pneumonia (a type of lung disease)
- People who had a serious infection within 4 weeks before starting the trial treatment
- People with a history of active tuberculosis within 1 year before joining the trial
- People with serious heart or stroke-related conditions
- People who experienced a hole or abnormal opening in the gastrointestinal tract within the 6 months before joining the trial
