Who might be able to join this trial:

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• You have a liver disease (either starting in the liver or spread to the liver from elsewhere) that cannot be treated with surgery or by burning/freezing the tumors away
• You have liver tumors and are being considered for major liver surgery, but first need a procedure to help grow part of your liver larger before the operation
• You are able and willing to read and sign a consent form agreeing to take part

Who may not be able to join:

• Women who are pregnant
• People whose blood does not clot properly and this cannot be corrected with treatment
• People whose cancer has spread widely outside the liver
• People who have an abnormal connection between the bile ducts and the digestive system (if being considered for certain procedures called lobar TACE or TARE) (confirm with trial site)
• People where more than 20% of blood flow is bypassing the liver and going directly to the lungs (if being considered for the TARE procedure) (confirm with trial site)
