Who might be able to join this trial:
- At least one parent or guardian with at least one child between the ages of 6 and 12 years old.
- Families (parents, guardians, and children) living in Greater Victoria, Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Duncan, Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey, or Burnaby, British Columbia.
- Children who currently do less than 60 minutes per day of moderate to vigorous physical activity (such as brisk walking, running, or active play).
Who may not be able to join:
- Children who are already getting 60 minutes or more of moderate to vigorous physical activity each day, as they are already meeting current physical activity guidelines.
- Participants who do not pass a standard pre-exercise health screening questionnaire called the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q), which checks whether it is safe for someone to begin increasing their physical activity (confirm with trial site).
