Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes less than 10 years ago
- People who are older than 60 years of age

- People with inherited blood disorders affecting haemoglobin (the protein in red blood cells)
- People who have been unable to move around for an extended period of time
- People with conditions that cause the body to retain fluid, such as severe heart failure, severe kidney failure, or liver failure
- People who have had an active cancer diagnosis within the past 5 years
- People with severe arthritis of the knee or hip
- People who have a pacemaker fitted
