- Adults who have stomach cancer and are having surgery to remove part or all of their stomach (gastrectomy)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have liver problems or reduced liver function
- People who have kidney problems or reduced kidney function
- People who are unable to eat by mouth or through a feeding tube within 7 days after their stomach surgery
