Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You have been diagnosed with advanced stomach (gastric) cancer, confirmed by a laboratory test of tissue, and staged according to standard American cancer staging guidelines
- You have not received any cancer treatments (such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, etc.) before starting the pre-surgery chemotherapy, and you have not had surgery related to the cancer spreading locally or to other parts of the body
- You received standard pre-surgery chemotherapy as recommended by medical guidelines, and your treatment details have been recorded
- You had CT scans and tissue biopsy images taken within one month before starting your pre-surgery treatment
- You have complete medical information from before surgery and a full assessment of how well the cancer responded to treatment after surgery (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- Your CT scan or tissue biopsy images are not clear enough to properly assess the cancer
- You have been diagnosed with another type of cancer at the same time as your stomach cancer
