Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have signed a written consent form to participate
• Adults aged 18 or older
• People who have been confirmed by tissue testing to have stomach (gastric) adenocarcinoma, where the cancer is locally advanced (spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes but not to distant organs), and the tumour is considered removable by surgery
• People who have not previously had any treatment for this condition, such as surgery, radiation therapy, or immunotherapy
• People who agree to surgery aimed at fully removing the cancer, and who have been assessed by a surgeon as suitable for surgery
• People who are in good general health or have only minor limitations in daily activity (based on a standard scoring system used by doctors)
• People whose life expectancy is greater than 6 months
• People whose blood test results show that their bone marrow, liver, kidneys, heart, and thyroid are functioning at adequate levels (confirm specific numbers with the trial site)
• Women of childbearing potential who have a negative pregnancy test before starting the trial
• People who are at risk of conception and are willing to use highly effective contraception during the trial

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose stomach tumour is actively bleeding, as seen during an endoscopy
• People who are currently in another clinical trial or have received another experimental drug or device within the 4 weeks before starting this trial
• People who have previously received certain types of immunotherapy drugs that target specific immune pathways (such as anti-PD-1, anti-PD-L1, anti-PD-L2, or anti-CTLA-4 agents, among others)
• People who have been diagnosed with another cancer within the 5 years before starting this trial
• People who have an active autoimmune disease that has required treatment throughout the body within the past 2 years
• People who have received a live vaccine within 30 days before starting the trial
• People who have received certain traditional Chinese medicines with anti-tumour or immune-modifying effects within 2 weeks before starting the trial
• People who have received steroid medications or other immune-suppressing treatments within 7 days before starting the trial
• People who have not fully recovered from side effects or complications of a previous medical procedure (not including tiredness or hair loss)
• People who have previously received an organ transplant from another person (except for cornea transplants) or a stem cell transplant from another person
• People with a known allergy to any of the medications used in this trial
• People with a known history of HIV infection
• People with untreated, active hepatitis B infection
• People with an active hepatitis C infection
• Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People with any serious or uncontrolled illness affecting the whole body
• People who, in the opinion of the trial doctor, have other factors that may affect the trial results (confirm with trial site)
