• People who have, or whose close family members have, a history of a specific type of thyroid cancer called medullary thyroid carcinoma
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People who have had an allergic reaction to, or cannot tolerate, a medication called liraglutide
• People who have previously used a class of medications known as GLP-1 receptor agonists or SGLT2 inhibitors (confirm with trial site)
