Who might be able to join this trial:
- Children between 4 and 10 years old who have already been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in their community, and whose diagnosis is confirmed using a standard autism assessment tool called the ADOS-2.

- Children who score above 75 on a nonverbal thinking and reasoning assessment called the Leiter-3, which measures cognitive ability without relying on language.

- Children who have a hearing loss that has not been corrected (for example, with hearing aids or other treatment).
