Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 7 and 26 years old.
- People who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), confirmed through recognised diagnostic tools or criteria (ADOS-2 or DSM-5).
- Both the participant and their parent or guardian must be able to speak and understand English well enough to take part.

- People who have a cerebral shunt (a device implanted in the brain to drain fluid).
- People who have a skin condition on or around the ear that would make it difficult to attach electrodes.
- People who are pregnant.
