- Your blood test shows that a specific hepatitis B protein (HBsAg) is no longer detectable, and another hepatitis B marker (HBeAg) is also not detectable
- You have blood samples that were stored both at the start of a previous treatment and at 48 weeks after that treatment ended
- You are willing to attend regular check-up visits for 1 year
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with liver scarring (cirrhosis) related to hepatitis B, whether mild or severe — including if you have had serious complications such as fluid build-up in the abdomen, confusion caused by liver problems, or bleeding from swollen veins in the stomach or food pipe
- You have another liver condition alongside hepatitis B, such as hepatitis A, C, D, E, or HIV, alcoholic liver disease, fatty liver disease, autoimmune liver disease, or any other ongoing liver condition
- You have liver cancer, or your blood test or scan results suggest there may be a possibility of liver cancer
- You currently have, or have had, another type of cancer that has not been fully cured
- You have a serious or poorly controlled medical condition (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently taking part in another clinical trial
- The trial doctor decides for any reason that this trial is not right for you
