Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are 18 years of age or older
• People who have been diagnosed with drug-resistant epilepsy according to the 2010 International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) criteria
• People who have had epilepsy for at least 2 years, with seizures happening at least twice per month on average in the 3 months before enrolling
• People who have tried two or more anti-epilepsy medications at adequate doses, and whose treatment plan will remain unchanged during the trial
• People who are able to cooperate with the treatment and complete all required examinations, and who (along with their family) have fully understood and signed a consent form

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are currently experiencing continuous, non-stopping seizures
• People who have serious infections, cerebrovascular disease, cancer, or severe problems with the heart, liver, kidneys, or other major organs
• People who have mental health disorders, uncontrolled high blood sugar that cannot be corrected, or who are taking corticosteroid medications long-term
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People for whom PET scans, MRI scans, or EEG tests are not safe or suitable
• People who have ferromagnetic (certain types of) metal implants in their body, or who currently have a high fever (confirm with trial site)
• People who are already participating in another clinical trial at the same time
• People whose consent has been withdrawn by themselves or their family
