Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are 19 years of age or older
  • You have been diagnosed with psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (seizures that are not caused by abnormal electrical activity in the brain) by a doctor, confirmed through a brain monitoring test with video recording (video-EEG)

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have also been diagnosed with epilepsy
  • You have fewer than 4 of these seizure episodes per month
  • Your episodes are caused by something other than psychogenic non-epileptic seizures, such as reduced blood flow to the brain, a sleep disorder, or migraines
  • You are currently taking part in another form of therapy during the study period
  • You have a severe intellectual disability
  • You experience severe mental health symptoms such as hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that are not there) or delusions (strongly held false beliefs)
  • Your blood pressure is above 130/80 mmHg (this applies specifically to one part of the trial — confirm with trial site)
