Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults of any sex or ethnicity who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, regardless of how well their diabetes is currently controlled or whether they have any related health complications.
- People who are able to attend the study location for a total of 7 visits.
- People who are willing and able to give their agreement (informed consent) to take part in both the clinical and personal risk score parts of the study.
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose treating doctor determines that a health condition they have could affect their ability to take part in the study.
- People who are assessed as being significantly frail, as research has not shown a clear benefit of intensifying diabetes treatment in this group.
