Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 80 years old.
- People who have Type 2 diabetes and have been admitted to an Endocrinology and Metabolism department.

- People with severe liver disease, as shown by certain liver enzyme levels being more than three times higher than the normal upper limit.
- People with severe kidney damage or end-stage kidney disease (based on a specific kidney function measurement falling below a set threshold).
- People who cannot tolerate adhesive tape near the sensor area, have a documented allergy to plaster adhesive, or have a serious skin condition (such as psoriasis or bacterial skin disease) in the area where the sensor would be placed.
- People whose mental health condition means they are unable to understand what the study involves or what taking part could mean for them.
- People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or women of childbearing age who are not willing to use contraception during the study.
