  • You are using an insulin pump (a device that continuously delivers insulin under the skin)
  • You are pregnant or have diabetes related to pregnancy
  • You have a known or suspected allergy to insulin
  • You are receiving all of your nutrition through a drip (total parenteral nutrition)
  • You have a mental health condition that prevents you from being able to give your consent to take part
  • You have any other illness or condition that the doctor running the trial believes could interfere with the study or put your safety at risk (confirm with trial site)
