Who might be able to join this trial:
- People diagnosed with stomach cancer or cancer at the junction of the stomach and oesophagus (confirmed by biopsy or tissue testing) that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery
- People whose cancer has tested negative for a protein called HER2
- People who have not received any cancer treatment before
- People whose doctor has recommended a treatment plan that combines chemotherapy with immunotherapy
- People aged between 18 and 75 years old (any gender)
- People with an expected survival time of 3 months or more
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a cancer other than stomach cancer, or whose stomach cancer has spread from a cancer that started somewhere else in the body
- People who have previously had any cancer treatment, including surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy
- People who have a serious active infection
- People with a history of mental illness that would make it difficult to participate in the study
- People with serious heart, liver, kidney, or other major organ disease
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People whose cancer has tested positive for the HER2 protein
