The child must be attending one of the following clinics at RCHSD: Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes, Cardiology, MASLD (a liver condition), general gastrointestinal (digestive health), or
The child must be between 5 and 18 years old
The child's parent or caregiver must have indicated that the family is experiencing food insecurity (difficulty affording enough food) and receives Medicaid or SNAP benefits (government food or health assistance programs)
The family must not be planning to move out of the San Diego area during the time the study is running
Children of all genders and racial or ethnic backgrounds are welcome to participate

Families who are planning to move out of the San Diego area before the study ends may not be eligible to participate
