Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are male, or female and not able to become pregnant
- People with a Body Mass Index (a measure of body weight relative to height) between 18.0 and 35.0
- People who are in good overall health, as assessed by the trial doctor
- People who have had a confirmed chronic Hepatitis B (CHB) infection for at least 12 months before the screening visit
- People whose Hepatitis B infection is of a specific type called HBeAg-negative (confirm with trial site for what this means for a particular case)
- People who are currently taking antiviral medication for Hepatitis B and whose virus levels are well controlled (suppressed) on that treatment
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a history of liver cirrhosis (severe liver scarring)
- People who currently have, or have previously had, infections such as Hepatitis A, C, D, or E, or HIV (type 1 or 2), or any other active infection considered medically significant
- People who show signs of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma)
- People who have received an organ transplant
- People who have had any cancer in the 5 years before screening, except for certain cancers that have been fully removed through surgery (such as a type of skin cancer called basal cell carcinoma)
- People who have taken part in another clinical trial and received an experimental treatment within 6 months before screening
