Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are a man who has been diagnosed with hemophilia B and are 18 years of age or older
  • Your Factor IX (a clotting protein in the blood) activity level is 2% or lower, meaning your hemophilia is severe
  • You do not have inhibitors (antibodies that block) Factor IX treatment
  • You have received Factor IX treatment products on at least 150 separate days in the past

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a blood or bone marrow disorder other than hemophilia B
  • You have previously received any type of gene therapy, including a treatment called ANB-002
  • You have HIV that is not being successfully controlled with antiviral medication
  • You currently have an active hepatitis B (HBV) or hepatitis C (HCV) infection
  • You have certain antibodies in your blood called anti-AAV5 antibodies (confirm with trial site)
  • You currently have any active widespread infection in your body, or you frequently get infections that require strong medication
  • You have any other condition that causes your immune system to be severely weakened
  • You have significant liver disease or any condition that may be a sign of an existing liver problem
  • You have had cancer, unless you have been in full remission for more than 5 years
