Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older, whether male or female
- You have been diagnosed with a specific type of stomach cancer (adenocarcinoma of the antrum) that can be treated with surgery aimed at curing the disease by removing part of the stomach
- You are registered with the French national health insurance system (including CMU)
- You are able to understand and complete questionnaires written in French
- You have read and signed a form giving your agreement to take part in the study before it begins
Who may not be able to join:
- Your cancer has already spread to the lining of the abdomen (peritoneum) or to other parts of the body before surgery
- You are having surgery only to relieve symptoms, not to try to cure the cancer
- You are under legal guardianship or a similar form of protected legal status
- You receive State Medical Assistance (AME) in France
- You are currently detained or are receiving compulsory psychiatric care in a health or social care facility
- You are not able to give your own informed consent to take part
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You are a woman who could become pregnant and are not using an effective form of contraception
