Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be 18 years old or older
- You must have a confirmed diagnosis of chronic hepatitis B, confirmed through blood tests, imaging, and clinical examination
- You must have had a specific liver imaging scan called MRE (magnetic resonance elastography) within 6 months before or after a liver biopsy
- You must not have previously received treatment for hepatitis B

Who may not be able to join:

- You cannot join if you have hepatitis B alongside hepatitis C, hepatitis D, or HIV
- You cannot join if you have a disease affecting your bile ducts or gallbladder
- You cannot join if you are unable to have an MRE scan for any reason, or if the MRE scan does not produce usable results
- You cannot join if the tissue sample taken from your liver biopsy is not of sufficient quality for analysis (confirm with trial site)
