Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old

  • You are over 55 years old and have not had a colonoscopy in the past 5 years
  • You have a severe personality disorder, are currently having thoughts of suicide, or have harmed yourself within the past year
  • You are allergic to or cannot take the medicines used in the study, or you have severe heart disease, very hard-to-control high blood pressure, or an overactive thyroid gland
  • You drink more than 50 units of alcohol per week (where 1 unit equals 10ml of pure alcohol)
  • You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
