  • You have a medical reason why you cannot safely have a camera examination of your stomach (gastroscopy).
  • You have a serious uncontrolled health condition, such as a blood clotting disorder, epilepsy, a nervous system or mental health condition, heart or lung problems, unstable chest pain, a recent heart attack, or a stroke within the last 6 months.
  • You are unable to have general anaesthesia or surgery due to other health problems, or you do not wish to have surgery.
  • You have stomach cancer that has come back, cancer in the remaining part of a previously operated stomach, multiple cancers in the abdomen, or another cancer diagnosis within the last 5 years.
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You are already taking part in another clinical trial.
  • The special dye (tracer) used in the study cannot be applied safely or clearly in your case (confirm with trial site).
  • You did not receive or did not complete the ESD procedure required for the study.
  • Your cancer meets the standard criteria where ESD alone is considered the clear recommended treatment (confirm with trial site).
