Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with advanced, inoperable stomach cancer or cancer at the junction of the stomach and oesophagus, confirmed by tissue testing as a specific type called adenocarcinoma.
- People aged between 18 and 70 years old.
- People who are relatively well and able to carry out daily activities with little or no limitation (based on a standard performance scale scored 0 or 1).

- People whose cancer has spread to the brain or spinal cord, including the membranes surrounding them.
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- People with a serious wound, ulcer, or bone fracture that has not healed.
- People with significant heart problems, such as unstable chest pain, moderate-to-severe heart failure, or a heart attack within the past 6 months.
- People who have had a stroke within the past 6 months.
- People with significant disease affecting the blood vessels in the arms or legs.
- People who are HIV-positive, or who have active hepatitis B or C.
- People who are unlikely to be able to follow the study procedures or attend follow-up appointments.
- People whose overall health condition, in the opinion of the treating doctor, makes participation in a clinical trial unsafe.
- People whose tumour tests show a particular protein marker (HER2-positive) at levels that meet a specific threshold (confirm with trial site).
