• You have started a new medication or dietary supplement in the last month

• You have made major changes to your lifestyle recently
• You have inflammatory bowel disease or other gastrointestinal conditions
• You have had bariatric (weight-loss) surgery
• You have another type of diabetes such as type 1 diabetes, cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, or a genetic form called MODY
• You have significant heart problems or have previously had a heart attack or stroke
• You have serious liver disease such as NASH or cirrhosis
• You have severe lung disease such as advanced COPD or cystic fibrosis
• Your thyroid condition has been uncontrolled in the past 6 months
• You take blood-thinning medications such as warfarin or direct oral anticoagulants (confirm with trial site)
• You are currently receiving chemotherapy or immunotherapy for cancer
• You take immunosuppressant medications, such as those used after an organ transplant
• You take anti-epileptic (anti-seizure) medications
