Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 70 years old
- You have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM) and are managing it with one or more of the following: diabetes pills or tablets, up to 2 insulin injections per day, diet control only, or a weekly/daily injectable medication called a GLP-1 receptor agonist that you have been taking for at least 6 months
Who may not be able to join:
- You have Type 2 Diabetes and need more than 2 insulin injections per day
- You have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have had a heart attack or stroke in the past 6 months
- You have heart failure
- You have liver failure
- You currently have active cancer
- You are currently receiving treatment for an active foot problem related to diabetes
- You are currently receiving treatment for an active diabetes-related eye disease
- You have significantly reduced kidney function (known as CKD stage 4 or 5, or eGFR below 30 — confirm with trial site if unsure)
- You have been hospitalised for any reason in the past 6 months
- Your doctor has advised you not to take part in intense physical activity
- You have a physical disability or cannot carry out everyday tasks on your own
- You are unable to watch YouTube on a mobile phone or tablet
- You are unable to use the BruHealth app independently
