Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 18 and 24 years old
• You currently live in the Greater Manchester area
• You have never studied for or completed a university degree
• You lived with one or both of your birth parents throughout your childhood
• You are able to travel to the University of Manchester
• You are able to understand the study information and take part in the assessments, either on your own or with reading support from a researcher, friend, or family member
• You are able to read text on a computer screen (wearing glasses or contact lenses if you normally use them)
• At least one of the following applies to you: you are not currently in education, employment, or training, or are unemployed; you receive government benefits such as housing benefit, Universal Credit, PIP, disability benefit, or jobseeker's allowance; or you are currently struggling with mental health difficulties or neurodiversity (for example, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, or an eating disorder)

Who may not be able to join:

• You were in foster care, kinship care, a children's home, or were adopted at any point during childhood
• You have experienced any form of childhood trauma, including neglect, physical or verbal abuse, sexual abuse, or witnessing domestic violence
• Your family was involved with social services due to child protection concerns during your childhood
• You have been diagnosed with and are currently experiencing symptoms of PTSD, borderline personality disorder (BPD), or emotionally unstable personality disorder (EUPD)
