Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- You have cancer that cannot be removed by surgery and has either spread to nearby areas or to other parts of the body, and your doctor has recommended a HER2-targeted treatment as a standard option for your cancer type.
- You are either about to start HER2-targeted therapy, or you have recently started it and have received no more than 6 rounds (cycles) of treatment so far.
- A previous tissue sample (biopsy) has shown that your cancer tests positive for a protein called HER2, or is "HER2-low," based on standard lab tests or a blood-based test done as part of your normal cancer care.
- You have areas of cancer that can be measured on standard scans (such as CT, PET, or MRI), and at least one of those measurable areas is outside the liver.
- Your doctor estimates you have a life expectancy of at least 6 months.
- You may still be eligible even if you have cancer that has spread to the brain.
Who may not be able to join:
- All of your measurable cancer spots are located only in the liver, with none elsewhere.
- You are unable or unwilling to follow the study procedures as required.
- You have a known allergy or sensitivity to any ingredient in the imaging drug used in this trial, called [68Ga]Ga-ABY-025.
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Your cancer tests negative for HER2 and there is no FDA-approved reason to use HER2-targeted therapy for your cancer type.
- You are unable to lie still and flat for 30 minutes during a scan session.
- You have other medical or mental health conditions that your doctor believes would prevent you from safely or successfully taking part in the study.
