Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have already received pre-surgery treatment (neoadjuvant therapy) followed by surgery that removed all detectable cancer (called R0 resection).
- People whose cancer has been confirmed by laboratory testing to be stage II or III stomach cancer or cancer at the junction of the stomach and food pipe (gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma), based on what remained after pre-surgery treatment.
- People who are able to provide enough tissue samples — either fresh tissue or a minimum of 5–10 preserved tissue sections — for detailed genetic testing (confirm with trial site).
- People who are able to attend all required study visits and are willing to provide blood samples at specific scheduled times during the study.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable to have enhanced CT scans, endoscopy (a camera examination of the digestive tract), or other standard follow-up checks after surgery.
- People for whom the required genetic and cancer DNA tests (WES or ctDNA-MRD testing) cannot be carried out after surgery, for any reason.
- People who the trial researchers consider unsuitable for the trial for other reasons (confirm with trial site).
