Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have a diagnosis of a developmental disability (DD), autism spectrum disorder, or a similar condition called PDD-NOS
  • You have been referred to a specialist habilitation (support) service for adults
  • You were referred through the Department of Neurohabilitation or another hospital in the Oslo Region

Who may not be able to join:

  • Your behavioral difficulties appear to be caused by a medical health condition or there is a reasonable chance that a medical issue is behind the referred problem
  • You receive community care services that do not meet Norwegian national standards for people with developmental disabilities — for example, if there are not enough staff members to support you properly, if you do not have enough engaging activities available, or if the on-site training provided to your caregivers is not adequate
  • Please note: receiving care from Oslo University Hospital does not automatically exclude you from joining (confirm with trial site)

Important: Always verify eligibility with the trial site directly before applying.
