Who might be able to join this trial:
For people with Wilson's disease:
- You are 12 years old or older
- You have been diagnosed with Wilson's disease confirmed by genetic testing
- You are being cared for at the Wilson's Disease Reference Center
- You are currently being treated with a medication called D-Penicillamine
- You do not have any other known conditions affecting your body's elastic tissue
For healthy volunteers:
- You are 12 years old or older
- You are being seen at the dermatology department of St Etienne University Hospital
- You are matched in age and sex with someone in the Wilson's disease group
- You do not have any condition affecting your body's elastic tissue
For everyone:
- You are covered by national social security (health insurance)
- You are willing and able to give written consent to take part (or a parent/guardian can do so if you are a minor)
Who may not be able to join:
- You are taking a medication that could affect how stretchy or elastic your skin is (the study doctor will decide if this applies to you)
- You have any skin problems or wounds on your forearm or cheek
- You are currently using any active or rejuvenating treatment on your forearm or cheek
- You have applied cream or make-up to your forearm or cheek on the day of the study
- You are under legal guardianship
- You are unable to follow the steps and procedures required by the study
- You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
