Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged 18 or older
• People who have had type 2 diabetes for at least 12 months

• Women of childbearing age who are using an effective form of contraception, such as the combined contraceptive pill, an IUD, or a hormonal implant

Who may not be able to join:

• People with type 1 diabetes or a rare inherited form of diabetes called monogenic diabetes
• People who have used high-concentration insulin (U500 or U200) in their pump within the last 3 months
• People with a known allergy to insulin or to medical adhesives
• People whose bodies require very large amounts of insulin (more than 1.5 units per kilogram of body weight per day), indicating severe insulin resistance
• People who have had more than one episode of severe low blood sugar in the past 6 months
• People who are currently using or planning to use steroid medications (taken by mouth or by injection), or any other treatment known to affect blood sugar levels, within the last 30 days
• People who are currently pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or who are breastfeeding
• People with severe kidney disease, defined as a kidney filtration rate below 30 ml/min
• People with advanced eye complications from diabetes that could worsen during the study
• People with vision or hearing difficulties that could make safe use of the pump device difficult
• People who have had a serious cardiovascular event (such as a heart attack or stroke) within the last 3 months
• People who are not able to independently manage an insulin pump
• People with alcohol or substance use problems
• People who are under legal guardianship or a similar form of legal protection
• People with any physical or psychological condition that could affect their ability to participate in the study
• People who are already taking part in another clinical trial
