Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged 18 years or older, of any gender.
• People referred through the fast-track pathway who do not have a history of inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis).

Who may not be able to join:

• People referred outside of the standard fast-track or "Straight to Test" pathways for suspected lower bowel cancer, or those referred as an emergency.
• People under 18 years of age.
• People who are not well enough to undergo standard bowel investigations such as a camera test of the stomach, a camera test of the bowel, or a CT scan of the bowel.
• People who are unable to give their own consent, or who have chosen not to consent to taking part.
• People who currently have an untreated solid organ cancer (a cancer affecting organs such as the liver, kidney, or lungs).
• People who have a known diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease.
• People who have a documented family history of inherited bowel cancer conditions (confirm with trial site).
