Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who are currently in hospital and have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (either newly found during their hospital stay, or diagnosed before but never previously treated with insulin)

  • People who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant
  • People who have type 1 diabetes (a different form of diabetes from type 2)
  • People who are currently receiving dialysis (a treatment that does the work of the kidneys)
