- People who currently do less than 150 minutes per week of moderate to vigorous physical activity (such as brisk walking or jogging)
- People with a BMI of 27 or above, and a body weight under 140kg (due to the weight limit of the scanning equipment used in the trial)

- People following specific dietary patterns that may interfere with the study, such as a high-fat vegan diet (confirm with trial site for other diets)
- People with a medical or surgical history that, in the investigators' judgement, may interfere with an exercise programme, affect fat metabolism, or raise safety concerns (such as circulatory problems in the legs, arthritis, certain neurological conditions, or fat storage disorders)
- People with a known sensitivity or allergy to the study medication Semaglutide, or who have a history of diabetic eye disease, pancreatitis, or any cancer — or who are pregnant
- People with significant asthma or lung disease
- People who are unable to ride a stationary exercise bike

- People who have recently had certain medical imaging involving contrast dye or radioactive materials (confirm with trial site on timing)
