- People with significant food allergies, strong dietary restrictions, or food intolerances that would make it difficult to follow the study's diet
- People currently experiencing an alcohol or substance use disorder, or who have not been sober or abstinent for at least 30 days
- People with cognitive impairment or another condition that would prevent full participation in the program
- People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant
- People currently enrolled in another health management program (such as a weight loss or smoking cessation program) or another clinical trial that could interfere with this study
- People who plan to move out of the local area within the next 12 months
