Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with a specific type of stomach or stomach-oesophagus junction cancer (called adenocarcinoma), confirmed by tissue or cell testing
- People whose cancer is removable by surgery, or potentially removable, and has reached a certain stage of spread within the local area but has not spread to distant parts of the body

Who may not be able to join:
- People whose cancer has spread to distant parts of the body
- People with a known allergy or sensitivity to fluorouracil or oxaliplatin (chemotherapy drugs), or to the study drug being tested
- People who currently have another type of cancer elsewhere in the body (exceptions may apply for people who have been cancer-free for 5 years, have had certain skin cancers fully removed, or have had certain early-stage cancers successfully treated — confirm with trial site)
- People experiencing urgent stomach or bowel problems such as difficulty swallowing, blockage of the bowel, bleeding in the digestive tract, or a hole in the digestive tract
- People who are pregnant, or who have a neurological condition, a mental illness, or a communication or language difficulty
- People with serious heart conditions such as uncontrolled chest pain, irregular heartbeat, heart failure, or a heart attack — particularly if a heart-related event occurred within the 6 months before joining the trial
- People with any other serious medical condition that could make participation unsafe or interfere with the trial results
- People who are not legally able to consent, or for whom continuing the trial would be inappropriate for medical or ethical reasons
