Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with focal epilepsy, generalised epilepsy, or both.
- People whose epilepsy has not been controlled by medication (sometimes called drug-resistant epilepsy).

Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had epilepsy surgery within the last six months.
- People who currently have an active Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) device or a Responsive Neurostimulation (RNS) device implanted.
- People who need certain medical treatments or tests that are not compatible with the device used in this trial, including MRI scans, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), lithotripsy (a procedure that breaks up kidney stones), or diathermy (a type of heat-based therapy).
- People for whom surgery to implant the trial device is not considered safe or possible.
