Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- You must have been diagnosed with a type of irritable bowel syndrome that mainly causes diarrhea (known as IBS-D), based on a specific set of recognised medical guidelines called the Rome IV criteria (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:

- People who have a medical condition that affects their digestive system, such as poorly controlled diabetes, or an overactive or underactive thyroid
- Women who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who drive vehicles or operate machinery as part of their work, including aerial operators
- People who currently misuse drugs or alcohol
