Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 20 years or older
- People who have been diagnosed with a type of non-cancerous stomach growth called a gastric adenoma with low-grade changes (meaning the cells look mildly abnormal but not cancerous), and where the growth measures 1 cm or smaller on camera examination of the stomach
- People who are already scheduled to have an endoscopic procedure (a treatment carried out using a camera inserted into the stomach) to address this growth
- People who are able and willing to sign a written consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously received treatment for a stomach adenoma or stomach cancer
- People who have had part or all of their stomach surgically removed in the past
- People who have been diagnosed with stomach cancer or more severe cell changes (high-grade dysplasia) at the time of joining the trial
- People who have more than one gastric adenoma present
- People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or who may become pregnant
- People living with ongoing health conditions that are not well managed and that could affect participation in the trial — for example, uncontrolled high blood pressure, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic kidney disease, fluid build-up in the abdomen, heart failure, or psychiatric conditions
