Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You must be willing and able to give your agreement (consent) to take part in the study
  • You may be eligible if you have a blood sample (serum or plasma) that tests positive for HIV-1 antibodies, HIV-2 antibodies, Hepatitis C antibodies, Hepatitis B surface antigen, or syphilis markers (TPHA and/or VDRL)

  • You may be eligible if you have a negative blood sample and have or have had certain other infections, including Hepatitis A or E, tuberculosis, gonorrhoea, chlamydia, influenza, or COVID-19
  • You may be eligible if you have a negative blood sample and have high levels of certain substances in your blood, such as IgG (an immune protein), rheumatoid factor, cholesterol, bilirubin, or triglycerides (confirm with trial site)
  • You may be eligible if you have a negative blood sample and have been diagnosed with cancer

Who may not be able to join:

  • People under 18 years of age are not eligible to take part
