Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have a HER-2 positive solid tumour that has been confirmed through laboratory testing of tissue or cell samples
- For Part 1 of the trial: people whose advanced or metastatic cancer (cancer that has spread) has continued to grow or returned during or after previous treatment
- For Part 2 of the trial: people with early-stage HER-2 positive cancer that carries a high risk of coming back, either after completing standard treatment or after pre-surgery drug treatment
- People whose blood test results show a specific antibody level at or below a certain threshold related to the virus used to deliver the treatment (confirm with trial site)
- People who are in good general health, able to carry out everyday activities with little or no limitation, as measured by a standard health scale (confirm with trial site)
- People with a life expectancy of at least 3 months
- People whose kidney, liver, heart, and lung function fall within the ranges set out in the trial plan
- People whose blood count results fall within the ranges set out in the trial plan
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose liver enzyme levels are more than twice the normal upper limit, which may indicate liver stress or damage
- People with known active cancer that has spread to the brain or the lining around the brain or spinal cord
- People with a history of certain conditions affecting small blood vessels, the heart muscle, or the nerves that carry sensation
- People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who have had another type of cancer within the past 5 years, as defined by the trial plan (confirm with trial site)
- People who have had a severe reaction to steroid medications in the past, or who have experienced serious side effects from them
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial that involves cancer treatment
