Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be an adult between 18 and 65 years old
- You must be of African or Indian origin (self-declared)
- Your fasting blood sugar (sugar levels after not eating) must be at a normal level of 110mg/dL
- Your HbA1c (a measure of average blood sugar over recent months) must be between 5.7% and 6.4%

Who may not be able to join:
- Women who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- Women who have previously had diabetes during a pregnancy (gestational diabetes)
- People who have been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (a hormonal condition affecting the ovaries)
- People with hormonal, liver, or kidney conditions that affect blood sugar levels
- People taking any medication or treatment that affects how the body processes sugar or insulin
- People who do not wish to participate
- People who do not have the mental capacity to give informed consent, or who are under legal guardianship or protection
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial that has a restriction period still ongoing
- People whose physical or mental health is severely affected in a way that, in the opinion of the trial team, may make it difficult for them to fully follow the study requirements (confirm with trial site)
