Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), confirmed by a psychiatrist or specialist
• People aged between 18 and 65 years old
• People who are currently experiencing significant depression, as measured by a specific clinical score (MADRS score greater than 20)
• People whose psychiatric medications have not changed in the month before joining the trial

• People who have certain other psychiatric conditions at the time of joining, such as an active manic episode or schizophrenia
• People who are pregnant at the time of joining
• People who have medical reasons that make it unsafe to receive repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) or to have an MRI scan — this includes a history of epilepsy, or having certain medical devices or metal implants in the body (such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, neurological stimulator, vascular or cardiac prosthesis, intracranial clips, a fluid shunt in the brain, or metal fragments in the eyes), or having claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces)
• People who are under a legal protection order (such as guardianship or curatorship), people who are currently detained, or people who are hospitalised involuntarily under a legal order
