Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are able to agree to take part and sign a consent form
- You have been assessed as suitable for surgery that aims to remove or cure your cancer, even if you have already received some treatment before surgery (such as chemotherapy)
- You have already had the standard scans or tests needed to assess the stage of your cancer before surgery
- You have been diagnosed with one of the following cancers:
- Breast cancer at Stage II or III
- Non-small cell lung cancer (a type of lung cancer) at Stage II or III
- A specific type of ovarian cancer (high-grade serous ovarian cancer), either returning after previous treatment (confirmed by biopsy) or suspected based on scan results
- Prostate cancer with certain higher-risk features, such as a Gleason score of 8 or above, a tumour of a certain size on scans, or a PSA level above 10 (confirm with trial site)
- Stomach cancer with certain features suggesting more advanced local spread, such as affected lymph nodes, spread to nearby tissues or organs, or a specific tumour type (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- You are not able or willing to sign a consent form
- You are not able to have surgery
- Your scans show that the cancer has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic disease)
- You are not willing to have blood samples taken at multiple points over time throughout the study
- You have been treated for another cancer within the last 2 years before joining this study
