Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been previously diagnosed with a BMI of 25 or higher and have had type 2 diabetes within the last 10 years
- You are between 18 and 75 years old

- You have a moderate to severe heart failure condition (confirm with trial site)
- You have a significant liver disease, such as jaundice, chronic hepatitis, or a previous liver transplant, or your liver function blood tests are notably abnormal
- You have been treated for cancer (with the exception of a common type of minor skin cancer) in the past 5 years, including treatment with chemotherapy, surgery, or radiation
- There is any other reason the research team thinks you may have difficulty following the study as required
- You are currently taking part in another research study related to diabetes or metabolic health
