Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have a solid tumour (cancer) that has spread to nearby tissue or to other parts of the body, has come back after treatment, or has not responded to treatment, and whose tumour has a specific genetic change called a SMARCA4 loss-of-function mutation
- People whose cancer has continued to grow or spread despite available approved treatments, or who are unable to tolerate those treatments, or for whom those treatments are not considered appropriate
- People whose liver, bone marrow, blood clotting, kidneys, heart, and lungs are functioning well enough to meet the trial's health requirements
- People who have measurable cancer that can be tracked using standard imaging guidelines (called RECIST 1.1)
- People who are fully active or have only minor restrictions in physical activity (this is measured using a standard scale called ECOG performance status, scored 0 or 1)
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose SMARCA4 mutation is inherited (passed down through the family), rather than occurring only in the tumour
- People who have a known mutation or loss of a related gene called SMARCA2
- People who are experiencing active symptoms caused by cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord
- People who have previously been treated with a therapy that specifically targets SMARCA2
- People who have a history of other cancers (confirm with trial site for specific details)
- People with significant heart disease
- People with high blood pressure that is not well controlled
- People with a heart rhythm abnormality known as prolonged QT interval, which is detected on a heart tracing (ECG)
