Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged from birth up to and including 24 years old (under 25 years of age)
- People who have been formally diagnosed with an intellectual disability, either on its own or alongside autism spectrum disorder, a developmental disorder, or profound multiple disabilities, based on recognised international diagnostic systems (ICD-11 or DSM-5)
- People whose pain has been assessed and confirmed as a probable or definite diagnosis by the MoDIDol team
- People with a PGIC score of 3 or higher (confirm with trial site what this score means for the individual case)
- People who live in or receive care in the French departments of Finistère, Côtes-d'Armor, or Morbihan
- People whose parents, legal guardians, or holders of parental authority have provided written consent allowing data to be collected and used for research and publication
- People who are covered by a French national health insurance scheme
Who may not be able to join:
- People who live in or are cared for across more than three different residences or care settings
- People whose parents or legal guardians do not have sufficient language or comprehension skills to give informed consent or to complete the study questionnaires
